Dr Cameron Steer (He/Him)
Computer Science Lecturer, University of West England (UWE)
My key areas are Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), User Experience (UX), and Physical Computing. I am particularly interested in projects that seek to understand and/or create novel interaction techniques using tangible user interfaces (TUIs), shape-changing technologies and non-ridged surfaces. I am curious about their potential applications to enhance digital art and design tools and/or game controllers.
My PhD thesis focused on enhancing digital art and design technology with new tangible augmentations such as mobiles that feel like paint or module screens for colour exploration.
